Howdy family! I just finished three of my morning-afternoon classes [Well, actually I got out at 2, but then I had to walk back to my dorm, go potty, and decided to do a load of laundry].My first one is from 8-9:30a.m. It's in the Evans building, which is like an ugly grey and I heard that a few people committed suicide off of it. It's my math 16A discussion class [analytical geometry & calculus]. I thought this one dude was being a smart a** because he looks REALLY young and was standing at the board, but it turns out he's the T.A./ GSI for that class! Haha...shame on me for jumping to conclusions. His name is Morgan Brown and he goes more into dept about our lectures with our professor [Woodin], which is a different class. Morgan's pretty coo;, he plays the violin & seems pretty chill.
My second class is from 10-11a.m. It's not too far from the first class and is in Hearst Gym, which I find really weird because it's like regular classrooms and what not. Oh and it said Hearst Gymnasium for Women, but guys are allowed in there. [Go figure that one out.] That's for my Phys. Ed. 64 class [an introductory seminar for martial arts, that teaches the "cultural, historical, philosophical, and social impact of martial arts"]. My instructor for that class is cool too (Dr. Ahn). He has a 7th degree black belt (or some sort of another) in Taekwondo and a masters in Taekwondo as well. Pretty crazy right?! AND to add on to that, he has a Ph.D. in linguistics. Freakin` GENIUS if you ask me. There's only 12 of us in that class, so I think we'll be pretty tight knit..maybe..
Afterwards, from 12:30-2p.m. I had my Math16A Lecture class. It was SUCH A DRAG! I seriously felt like Prof. Woodin was just talking to imself and repeating the same things OVER AND OVER AND OVER. It's in this big lecture hall and there's so many people in there. After a while I just started writing down the whatever he wrote on the bored because, for some reason, all I heard him saying was...mumbles. Haha..I'm planning on taking this course along with Math 16A where you get EVEN MORE help with the work. We'll see how that works out tho.
Now I'm just relaxing in my dorm until I have to go to my LAST & FINAL class of the day, which is from 5-8:00p.m. Don't worry thoe guys; I know EXACTLY where the class is and it's right on Bancroft, only a couple of blocks away from my dorm. AND my friend Mike said he'll meet me and walk me home. Everything's all cool beans.
I don't know if I'll be able to make it back this weekend for Jaylie's birthday, but hopefully I will. We'll just have to see. =T
I love all of you and thanks for replying to my emails!
